Wilbur Cush

I remember all of Wilbur Cush's home games in the number four shirt for Leeds United.

He was a small, stocky player who could put himself about in a fashion similar to the magnificent Bobby Collins some few years later. Surprisingly enough (to me anyway) I remember nothing of his leaving United.

Wilbur, and his beautiful wife - about whom I know nothing - lived on Whitehall Road in Leeds.
