Serbia and Montenegro Football Team

The Serbia and Montenegro Football Team (formerly Yugoslavia)had a most impressive qualifying campaign, to win a very strong European Group 7, finishing above Spain, Serbia & Belgium.

The Plavi, as they are nicknamed, have been unlucky with the draw in Germany, which puts them in the "Group of Death" (Group C) along with Argentina, Holland & Ivory Coast. Favourites will be Argentina & Holland, but there could well be absolute carnage here.

The Serbia and Montenegro squad does not contain a mass of European stars, but a couple of note are Mateja Kezman, Zvonomir Vukic & Savo Milosevic.

The Serbia and Montenegro Football Team are coached by Ilija Petkovic, and are ranked by FIFA at World number 47.
