Have you ever wondered what would happen if the Premier League managers had a fight?

We at Football England rarely think of anything else, so we've decided to create our own Premiership Managers fight club. This should be fun... Here's how it works:

Seedings
We've decided to operate a seeding system in the first round of bouts, but because there are 20 managers and we need to whittle them down to 16, we've seeded 15 bosses and the other 5 will have to have a Royal Rumble between the 5 softest managers for the last spot.

The top 8 seeds have been decided by the Football England panel and will be drawn out first against a bottom 8 seed. Each round thereafter will be drawn as per FIFA rules (We will not allow any warming of the balls).

The Draw
The draw is displayed in the order they came out of the hat. Well, it was a bucket actually, but that's not important. Seedings are in brackets and we will attempt to justify those as we go along.

First Round

Stuart Pearce (5) v Gareth Southgate(11)

Mark Hughes(7) v Glen Roeder(12)

Sam Allardyce(1) v Steve Coppell(15)

Martin Jol(3) v Martin O'Neill(13)

Chris Coleman(8) v Alex Ferguson (16) Royal Rumble Winner

Aidy Boothroyd (6) v Alan Pardew (10)

David Moyes(4) v Neil Warnock(14)

Iain Dowie(2) v Paul Jewell(9)

Bouts will be fought at a location specified by the home fighter and will be last man standing wins.

The Royal Rumble will be an all in last man standing match between:
Sir Alex (whiskey) Ferguson, Harry (the twitcher) Redknapp, Arsene (the pacifist) Wenger, Rafael (fatman) Benitez and Jose (the wise one) Mourinho.

Premier League Managers, seconds out: Let's get ready to rumbaaaaaaaallllll!!!
