Portugal Football Team

The Portugal Football Team will no doubt have it's backers in Germany, as per usual. And, as per usual, expect them to flatter to deceive. The Portuguese side always look good on paper, but rarely transfer that to the pitch when it matters.

Qualification was a breeze for Portugal, who were unbeaten in their European Group, and scored a hatful of goals.

The Portuguese squad must also be happy with their draw, in World Cup Group D, which pits them against Angola, Iran & Mexico. Surely they must ba favourites to progress from that group?

Watch out in Germany for the dazzling boots of Christiano Ronaldo, and their all time leading goalscorer Pauletta.
