No Worries For The English
There is no English, French,Spanish or even Itallian football anymore. We live in a global world so why should we expect globalization not to affect football.Isnt Fish and chips still the same despite the fact that it is being cooked by a foreigner and the fact that american burgers are everywhere or how can a pizza be Itallian when its cooked by an English cheff or how can football be English when its been players from all around the world?
At this state of the world there is no national football, apart from national tournements, there is only club football. To be able to see the future of English football first we have to define it. What is English football? According to the article its playing it fast, furious, tackling hard and etc. So to have a change in English football we have to have a change in the factors above, which are assumed to be changes that results from having foreign players. If a player is successful in England then he must be playing fast, hard and etc otherwise he wouldnt be able to cope with it and end up back in his original country or to a lower league. To solve this problem and have a better English football simple ban clubs from buying players from abroad for 3 years and at the end of the period see how many CL or world cups nd etc. English Clubs or England have won. Figures would not be any better than todays. Thus, in nowadays world, blaming foreigners for the worries of English football is pointless and it is a kind of comment that you would only expect to get from an English men.
If the concerns are about England, as the national team, then it is even more pointless to ask questions about where it is goin. Where is it anyway? Last time England had any major impacts on any World Cup or any other tournment was years ago. So again its got nothing to do with Vidic or Torres or any other foreign player.
Also to see whether English youth system is any good, comparing stats might be handfull. Take in to account, the wage difference for playing in premier league and in Spanish league (get the difference of average wages paid in each league) and get numbers of English playing abroad and Spanish playing for English clubs, compare the figures and you will have a clear idea of which countries youth system is better. Such as ,if the average wages paid in England is not very higher than the average wages in Spain, when there are plenty of Spanish in Premier league and not even 1 English in Spanish league then Spanish youth system has to be more efficient.
To conclude football is a free market and football clubs are managed like firms so to say bringing players from abroad is hurting English football can not hold. Simple example, Man Utd won the CL last year, which i believe would not be possible without Ronaldo, Tevez etc. This cup brought money to the club, prestige etc. So having players from abroad can improve your club level. Also, as Man Utd won this cup, a boy in China who is aged only 9 became a fan of Man Utd, started watching Premier Lg on TV, bought kits etc. , which means players from abroad could also be good for the Premier lg, English football. Therefore, premier lg is still the best in the world and seems like it always will be,however, being the best is not because it is English is because it is entertaining, which is a result of the variety of the type of players it contains. In the global world money is eveything and English clubs have alot of it so English football will always be strong and one the best.
