Mexico Football Team - El Tri

The Mexico Football Team or El Tri as they are known, should continue to be the best of the CONCACAF prospects at Germany 2006. The Mexicans have now qualified for 12 World Cup Finals, which is impressive going.

An easy qualification saw El Tri scoring freely, and they do look a threat to any side in Germany. The Mexico National team beat Brazil in the 2005 Confederations Cup, and have what should be an easy group to qualify from. The Mexican's opponents in Group D will be Portugal, Iran & Angola.

Young goalscorer Francisco Fonseca will be one to look out for at the spearhead of the Mexican teams attack. This year El Tri will be hoping to surpass previous best efforts in the tournament, where they have never been past the Quarter Finals.

The Mexico Football Team are managed by Ricardo Lavolpe and are ranked at number 7 in the World by FIFA.
