Memories Of Harold Hassall

I just read your profile of Hassall while doing some research. As a Bolton fan I remember Hassall well. He was a strong running player, you had to be to survive at Bolton, fast and with a tremendous shot.
There was a lot more to his game than running, he was a creative player. Today he would thrive just behind a central striker and score plenty of goals. I don't remember him doing much defensively, in those days you had wing halves to drop back and link the play, but I've no doubt he would adapt well to the modern game. Today I believe he does hospitality duties at the Reebok.
