Korean Republic Football Team
The Korean Republic Football Team have a hard act to follow in Germany 2006, after their side made the semi-finals on home soil in 2002. In 2002 they were managed by Dutchman Gus Hiddink, and this year they again have a dutch coach in Dick Advocaat.
The Korean squad is without any household names, other than Manchester United's Park-Ji Sung, but they always provide a great team spirit and work ethic.
Qualification from the Asian group stages was less than convincing for the Korean Republic team, and they do not look to be up to producing any great upsets like last time.
The draw has been favourable to Korea, with France, Switzerland & Togo being their Group G opponents. The Korean Football Association & their fanatical fans will be delighted if they can qualify for the knockout stages.
The Korean Republic Football Team is currently ranked number 29 in the World by FIFA.
