Japanese Football Team

The Japanese Football team has progressed a long way in recent years, and this year in Germany they will be a more familiar sight to us. This is their third consecutive finals, and they are also current Asian champions.

The Japan team was the first to qualify for the Finals, and they had little trouble along the way, droppimg just 3 points.

The Japanese squad is managed by a Brazilian, Zico who will no doubt be looking forward to meeting his home country in their Group F match. This will prove a difficult group for Japan with Croatia and Australia thrown in.

Hidetoshi Nakata, the Bolton Wanderers midfielder, will be one familiar face amongst a young side that has few familiar faces.

The Japanese Football Team always have good support and are ranked at number 15 in the World by FIFA.
