Has Rafa lost the plot?

What is going on with Rafa Benitez?!

First he throws his toys out of his pram by suggesting United get preferential treatment from the FA. Although some suggested it was a carefully constructed argument against his fellow peer (he did after all write his views down on a piece of paper and calmly deliver it during a press conference so as not to appear as if he was ranting…. although the fact he took time to do it suggested he was already a little rattled.)...it surely was ill-timed wasn't it? Before a tricky tie away to Stoke, who's home record this season is a match for Liverpool's own.?

Maybe in hindsight a small error, but there were some who agreed with what Benitez had done at the time. Do those same people also agree that Keane's departure from Liverpool had nothing to do with Rafa wanting to make a point of the fact the purchase of Keane was not what he wanted in the first place?

So Keane was on Parry's wish list, not Rafa's, but that's not the players fault. Nor does he become a bad player over night. You tell me any player who will play at his optimum knowing he will be substituted after an hour, or worse still, not even be brought on when the team is losing and struggling to find the goal.

It was obvious Keane was never going to make the grade at Anfield, not whilst his manager seemed to be doing his utmost to keep his confidence at an all time low. Benitez’s claim Liverpool was too big for him is laughable….This is a player who went to Inter as a boy and was acclaimed by fans.

Benitez hasn't stopped there though. His latest gaffe has been to make comments with hidden meaning in his post-match conference. Well, he meant them to be hidden, but it is obvious to footie lovers he is trying to moan at the refs for Liverpool's untimely fall from grace.

Get over it Rafa...stop trying to hide behind referees. Stop trying to hide behind the fact there are rifts between the owners, and the fact they won't give you total control of the club....is it any wonder? It seems to me to be a case of, if he can't have what he wants then he will do what he can to destroy it. Will Liverpool be Valencia Part II?! Time will tell.............

Also it does beg the medical question ….is the loss of a kidney stone directly proportional to the amount of sense you lose? Thought someone should ask…….
