Brilliant performance by Pool in a bittlerly disappointing relegation season.

This was a one-way demolition of a shell shocked W.Ham team. Moore looked visibly dazed by some of Tony Green's antics as he ploughed through the midfield and defence of the hammers unchecked time and again.

The atmosphere at the game waa surreal as West ham had some top players and their league position belied their quality running into the match. Jimmy Greaves was off the pace and barely got going in the last 20 but fair play to the Tangerines who stormed West Ham that january day.
