Gob Smacked

I went to school with Johnny's son Kevin in Dagenham. I will always remember how jealous I was of Kevin that he was the son of Johnny Byrne one of my favourite footballers. Then he turned up one day when we were playing over at the school playing field and started doing a bit of shouting, mainly at Kevin. I was gob smacked. That was the end of my game (I wasn't much good anyway)there and then as all I wanted to do was go and meet this man. I wish West Ham had a few like him today. I still have a treasured football annual at home with a great picture of Johnny with Kevin in it during a training session. Best Wishes to Kevin and the Family
