German Football Team

The World Cup is always priority number one for the German Football Team, and as history tells us, they normally save their best games for the finals. Never underestimate the Germans at the World Cup.

The Germany side has been champions on three occasions in the past, one of those being the last time it was held on German soil in 1974. They last won the trophy in 1990.

The German football team have a knack of being able to produce performances when they really matter, and although the current squad is not blessed with a host of International stars, they will be as efficient as ever and extremely difficult to beat on home turf.

Germany's team does possess one real star in Michael Ballack, and he will be heavily relied on to provide the attacking impetus for them. If he gets injured, they could struggle.

The first round should be an easy qualification for the German squad, with Ecuador, Poland & Costa Rica as opponents.
