Ukraine looked likely to spring a surprise in their group after beating Denmark, the favourites, 1-0 at home in their first meeting. After winning their first six games they suffered a setback by only drawing at home to Portugal and needed to avoid defeat in Denmark to top the group.
They lost that game 1-0 but made short work of Slovenia in the play offs, winning both legs for a 5-0 aggregate victory.

Ukraine are going to be happy to reach the quarter finals and I can see them managing that in a reasonable group but then lose out, probably to Sweden.
