Ecuador Football Team

Germany 2006 is the second consecutive time the time that the Ecuador Football Team has qualified for the World Cup Finals. Amazingly, they finished above favourites Brazil in qualifying from their South American Group stage. They finished the qualifiers unbeaten at home, which may suggest that Germany may not be to their liking.

Ecuador don't posess many star players, but they do have one we've heard of in England. Ulises de La Cruz plays for Aston Villa.

Whilst Ecuador have been drawn against the host nations in the first group stage, the other two opponents they face - Costa Rica & Poland are both beatable and they could progress into the knockout stages.
