I can't believe we've given Calamity the no. 13 shirt, it's like we want him to cock up.
Hopefully he can spend the summer warming the bench and we can only hope that he has his head on it if he does see action.
Looking back he should have had his chance last time around. He might have won us the thing. This time there is definitely a better man in front of him.
Football England Verdict
Rating: -
Did what everyone wanted him to do and stayed safely on the bench all tournament. He does give the impression of being a good man to have about the place, however, and must have made loads of saves in training when the boys were practising penalties.
Portugal 0-0.
Completed an exemplary World Cup by staying on the bench yet again. Nobody can blame him this time.
Ecuador 1-0.
Paul Robinson's convincing nobody at the moment but there are no calls for Calamity to get the nod ahead of him.
Sweden 2-2.
Might be polishing his shooting boots soon if the strikers continue to disappear.
Trinidad 2-0.
Happily sat on the bench playing on his Gameboy.
Paraguay 1-0.
Happily sat on the bench playing on his Gameboy.
