Croatia Football Team

The Croatia Football Team qualified for the World Cup at the top of Europes' group 8 without losing a game. This was an impressive feat in a difficult group containing Sweden, Bulgaria & Hungary.

This is the third consecutive World Cup tournament they have qualified for, and in 1998 they finished in 3rd place overall, and were the surprise package of the whole tournament.

Many of the Croatian team play their football in England and other European countries, and should be well known to us. The current Croatian football team may not have the class of the 1998 side, but will be difficult to beat and could upset one or two teams if allowed to play.

The Croatia Football Team are currently ranked No 20 in the World by FIFA.
