Good:
Casey Stoney
Returned to her natural position of right back during the course of the season and showed everybody just how accomplished she is in that position with a series of commanding displays. Ended the season in a player manager capacity and gave the impression that she will thrive on the extra responsibility.
Danielle Buet
Heading the crop of talented youngsters emerging at the club and became a regular England squad member during the season. A bubbly and inventive midfielder there is still room for improved consistency in her end product.

In Brief:
Chelsea could talk about this season being another step forward but inwardly they must surely have been frustrated and disappointed with their efforts. While only Arsenal and Everton managed to beat them in the league they seemed further away from actually matching those teams than ever and losing badly to Sunderland in the FA Cup semi finals was a hammer blow.
There were high hopes at the start of the season with the capture of Lianne Sanderson and Anita Asante from Arsenal but the club then suffered the loss of Asante and Eni Aluko to the Pro League to dampen spirits.
No club has as many exciting youngsters at their disposal at present, however, and if two or three of these really develop over the next couple of seasons then they might just be able to really challenge for honours after all.

As yet we have no information to provide on Chelsea Ladies.

The club seem to be in some turmoil at present having sacked their manager and coaching staff early on in this season and have yet to appoint official replacements.
