I have been watching football for 74 years around the world and by mere coincidence I am an Arsenal fan from the days of Bergkamp, Pires, Henry and Co. The model Wenger tries to implant pleases me a lot; it is the same philosophy adopted by Barcelona with a tiny difference: When the "kids" in Barcelona started showing their class, the Manager in charge DID NOT hesitated in giving them the chance to demonstrate their quality.I remember well the day Xavi stepped in the Camp Nou pitch; he was trying to "fill Guardiola´s shoes". I can assure you that the task was far from beeing easy but the Manager (Cruyf a the time) did just that:"get in and show us what you pretend to do". What is Wenger waiting to get rid of Eboué, Song, Eduardo, Traoré, Rosicky, Djorou, Sylvestre and even Gran Dad Gallas", having(aging like good wines)kids like: Ramsey, Wilshere,Vela, Gibbs, Walcott, Mérida. Give them the same trust Cruyf gave to Xavi. May be we´ll be out of the Champion´s for a short time but you could built another Barça. It is just a gamble but today with "our Arsenal" we will NOT, anyway, win a single TIN CUP.
