Best goal ever!

Peter Knowles scored the best goal I ever saw - unfortunately I can't remember the opposition on the day. Running at pace, he flicked the ball over his head, juggled with it a couple of times before hitting a screamer in to the top corner of the net, leaving the goalkeeper hopelessly stranded.

My uncle says he can remember him taunting a Manchester United side which included George Best, finally sitting on the ball and inviting the United players to get it off him.

The man was pure class and was a tragic loss to football.
