The Argentina football team are well known to us all. Perhaps not the force they were a few years ago, they nevertheless must be respected. They will be difficult opponents at this years World Cup Finals.

They qualified second in their group behind Brazil whom they beat emphatically 3-1 at home. The Argentina team remain unbeaten at home for an amazing 12 years. They looked less convincing in away trips and dropped points in unlikely places like Chile & Ecuador.

The Argentina football team still posess players of real quality such as Hernan Crespo, Juan Riquelme & Roberto Ayala and must be considered as potential winners of the World Cup.
