it was clough who sold teddy and robbed him of two euro cup final medals .. john robertson couldn't tie his bootlaces and neither could a lot more, apart from their david, but beer and women put a stop to that becoming a fact.

he wasn't a yes man, he was a great player, maybe the fact teddy never got a job in management in england, that partly explains some of the problems in english football, but understanding who runs it maybe even more so.

teddy came from a place that consistently produced great grass roots players, but is remarkable possibly 4 how many of them simply refused to play 4 that motley conservative dictatorship who ran the game in teddy's playing days and still do unfortunately.

they alsö stopped him from getting a coaching or managing job in football, a man who could motivate players to run through a brick wall if need be, another scandalous situation. viva the rev, viva rebel players like teddy, the most modest and nicest guy u could wish 2 meet anywhere. off the pitch that was!!!

psi. personally liked clough cause he was a socialist but nevertheless, sellin teddy stopped him playing in 2 euro cup finals and that's the real tragedy of teddys playing career
