Alan "Quicksilver" Pardew Fighting style: Will attempt to let his opponents slag him off in a bid to get his dander up. Once excited though, "Quicksilver" is lightning fast. Special Moves: "The Sulk" - A ploy to get his opponent off balance by appearing uninterested in what's going on around him. When he's approached expect a speedy counter attack. "The Rag" - Whilst appearing to wear scruffy T-Shirts, Quicksilver actually dons a comforting towelling garment under his fancy business suits, which enhances his inner being. Whilst wearing this fabled singlet his confidence is supreme. Profile: Quicksilver thinks he has a point to prove to the other competitors, which could make him dangerous for those that hold him in low esteem. Although it may seem unlikely now, Quicksilver made his name as a stand-up comedian in the harsh clubland of Northern England. His once legendary Mother-in-law jokes were cruelly plaigiarised by Bernard Manning and Les Dawson, which led to an epic showdown at "The Talk of the North", one Saturday evening in early 1973. On hearing Dawson reproduce the classic: Quicksilver surged into a blinding rage and knocked the fat jokester to the floor with a well aimed whist pie, then followed up his assault with the mike stand. Dawson was only saved by Colin Crompton's timely intervention, ringing his trade-mark fire bell.
