Is Peter Crouch, Gifted?
We're still not impressed by Peter Crouch although he's notched his first England goal against Uruguay. This guy just does not look like a footballer at all, and we're getting pretty fed up of all the television pundits bigging him up. Every time Peter Crouch traps a ball we hear "He's not just good in the air you know, he's got a good touch for a big man". That is absolute twaddle, he's not even good in the air.
It seems obvious now that Sven is going to take him to the World Cup, so sooner later we'll have to accept that and get behind the lad, but don't ever try to tell us again that he's a good footballer.
